WINNER : PROMAX WORLD SILVER - ART DIRECTION FOR SHORT FORM
The History Channel commenced H100, a dedicated campaign to mark the centenary of the First World War.
Anchored by Steve Liebmann, Foxtel's History Channel created interstitials featuring interviews with noted historians about remembrance, personal stories, battlefield strategy, and the spirit of the diggers.
I was the Art Director on the project, and developed the concept of projecting the archival footage and photos onto giant 6 metre custom built screens.
We scouted for locations, and decided upon the historic Exhibition Hall at Technology Park in Redfern. This majestic centrepiece includes towering cast-iron columns, arched windows and rustic brickwork.
